Resmed Airsense 10 Battery Backup Help
Resmed Airsense 10 Battery Backup Help
Looking for a little help. I have purchased a 12V 35AH battery, a Battery Tender and the 24v to 12v converter required to power the CPAP. I can't figure out how to connect the battery to the converter, what am I missing. Any help would be appreciated!

Something like this.
The color coded alligator clips connect to the battery terminals.
The DC converter has a cigarette connector at one end that goes into the cigarette socket that is at the other end of the color coded alligator clips.
This package from cpap.com has everthing but the tender...

You need one more item - a "cigarette lighter socket" such as this:rjknyy wrote:Looking for a little help. The BatteryTender should come with a cable that has a red and black ring connector on one end and a "quick connect" on the other. Bolt the red to "Pos" or "+" and the black to "Neg" or "-"; the quick connect can attach to the BateryTender for charging, or the the socket for running the cpap.
If you want to charge and run the cpap at the same time you need a "1 to 5 splitter" that is also one Amazon for about $10.
Hope this helps.

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 Battery Backup Help
OK, I have one of those coming. My 24v power converter did not come with a cigarette adapter. What type do I need to go from the female adapter to the converter? Thanks again!CapnLoki wrote:You need one more item - a "cigarette lighter socket" such as this:rjknyy wrote:Looking for a little help. The converter should come with a cigarette plug. It may also come with a socket that has alligator clips to attach to the battery, but I don't recommend using that except in an emergency - they're too easy to fall off.Guest wrote: OK, I have one of those coming.
