The DME tech came to set up my APAP and we agreed that the heat would be set on 2. How can I check so see if it is indeed on 2, and if not to change it? It seems to be hotter at 2 than my previous machine.
With my former CPAP machine, it had the button on top so I could manually switch it from 1-10. This new machine (see my machine information below in my profile) does not allow for that and it has to be set from the main menu. How do I get there to make the change? Thanks.
Jeff

Hi Jeff--
Press and hold the heat button in until the number pops up on the LCD screen, then turn the number up or down by pressing either the heat OR the ramp button--you may press either one. Set to number to where you want it to be, then press the on/off button to exit the heat menu.
Respironics humidifiers do run warmer because they are more efficient at heating the water. good luck!!
