Thanks for asking. She's doing quite well, under the circumstances. We continue to have a live-in health aide who tends to her needs and frees me up to do the many things of maintaining a household, grocery shopping, etc. The Hospice nurse visits once a week and that is a blessing because she can monitor health signs and evaluate them. As a former EMT I know what to listen to in her chest and abdomen, but it is better to have the professional regularly do it.

She was in her glory yesterday because our son visited for a day. He's her favorite.

The clock keeps ticking. I'll be 90 this Sunday. <sigh>

It just goes to show you how different people are as they age. You seem delightful. Your wife is fortunate to have someone like you caring for her. I wish you the happiest birthday on Sunday! I have a little ways to go... but I hope I'm just like you when I grow up.
