Compliance Report

Post by Creekwaggys@gmail.com » Wed Aug 09, 2017 2:01 pm

Hello to all. I recently been prescribed a airsence 10 auto CPAP machine. June 28 2017 was my first day of use. Today I have received monthly compliance report . My sleep study total RDI is 37.3 mainly Hypopnea. Prescribed auto 7~20 pressure. 95% pressure from compliance report is 16.9 . Median is 11.9. Any suggestions as to narrowing my pressure range? Total AHI is 37. Total sleep time of 316.5 minutes. Sleep efficiency of 68.2%. Sleep latency of 44.0 min. A total of 25.6 %rem sleep with rem latency of 210.0 minutes.

Without seeing more data, we're guessing. The compliance report is not enough to go on... A guess would be to raise your min pressure tp 10. You need to register, fill in your equipment and download Sleepyhead software.

I think you are confusing your initial sleep study without cpap with the report showing what happened since you started using it.

What you had in terms of sleep apnea pre cpap isn't so important. What is important is how well you are doing and how much those pre cpap numbers get reduced. For that you need more information that is available in the software.

95% numbers...you need to understand the definition..it just means where you were at OR BELOW for 95 % of the time. It is NOT an overall average where you spent the night at that number. The "or below" part of the definition is real important. 95% numbers are easily skewed and for that reason they aren't necessarily the holy grail that some people think they are.

Would need to see the software reports from the machine and the AHI to get an idea what to offer if you want to narrow the range.
At this point we don't know if you even need to narrow the range.

Do you know about the software? If not

There's a lot of data available on your machine. See here for some examples but there's even more than is shown in these examples.
