Faking a F&P SmartStick...

I dropped my F&P HC254 going through customs a few months ago and damaged the SmartStick. No one seems to carry them anymore, and I found a flash drive that will fit in slot. Does anyone have one still and can tell me what the drive is named, and what filesystem it has on it, as well as any folders in the root of the drive?

Or if there's a place out there that has them that I just missed.

Are you certain the files you saw on that drive where not written by the cpap? Have you tried just putting in a blank or even a thumb drive with other files on it? Give it a try.

F&P cpaps are not very popular here mainly cuz the older machines didn't capture any useful data the user could see to check if their settings were effective. By time they did they were behind the other cpaps on the market.

All the ones I've seen that are available are for the F&P ICON machines, not the SleepStyle HC254 (including the one posted).

I tried just putting in a fresh USB drive with no files and it just gave an E49 error.

I looked everywhere and I couldn't find that special SmartStick needed for the F & P SleepSyle machines.

You might start calling some DMEs in your area to see if they maybe have one laying around gathering dust.

I think it must be a specially constructed smartstick and I don't know that you will be able to make anything else work.
