Encore Pro reports

Initially my Smart Card didn't have the patient ID recorded in Encore Pro. Every time I downloaded the data it would warn me of this fact but still seemed to work fine. Eventually I let it update the card to get ride of this warning. Now when I try to make a report it will only allow me to go back to the date of when I changed the patient ID rather the beginning of when I installed the software. Has anyone else seen this and is there a way to fix it?

Also detailed reports only seem to be generated for an individual download? Seems like a unnecessary restriction? Why can't I make report for any data that in the database.
