Have been using the F20 for a couple months now and find it very comfortable but it does seem to blow more air than other masks I have had or tried. I think it is coming out the exhalation port but might also be where the connector from the hose plugs into the mask.
Anyone else experience this? Just wondering if something might be wrong or if it is just the way it is. Doesn't bother me but my wife is bothered by the additional noise

Re: F20, comfortable but loud
I use the F20 and find it very quiet. There is some kind of seal when the connector plugs into the mask...there may be a leak there. Did the leak just start or has it been there as long as you have been using the mask? Looking at your profile, it looks like you have a large variety of masks.

Re: F20, comfortable but loud
What pressure are you using?
I find the F20 becomes noisy @ pressures of 15 and above.

Re: F20, comfortable but loud
Looking at your profile, it looks like you have a large variety of masks - that's not the half of it, I apparently have a new hobby, collecting masks I am not quite satisfied with.LSAT wrote:I use the F20 and find it very quiet. I just spent some time with it trying to figure where the air is coming from and I am finding 3 places.
1.Where the coupling goes into the mask. I am not finding any seal. There is a series of small holes around the coupling and air escapes through these
2.Where the ball joint connects into the coupling to rotate the hose, quite a bit of air coming out here
3.What I believe is the exhalation port (next to the flapper valve)
All in all this contributes to enough air that it disturbs my light sleeping wife who, in-turn, disturbs me.
Pressure is less than 15, I think it is 11 to 14
