New Airsense 10

Post by gregnga » Wed Jun 07, 2017 8:22 pm

I just got a new Resmed AIrsense 10 today. I will be using it for the 1st time tonight. I have been using a Resperonics Remstar Auto CPAP with C-flex for about the last 10 years. My Medicare is paying for most of it so, I went the traditional route and got it through the DME. I noticed that the ramp option is greyed out and set to manual. Is this something I have to go into the clinical menu to change?

Yeah, ResMed's do the ramp thing from within the clinical setup menu area. If it's greyed out you don't have access but once you go into the clinical setup menu you can gain access.

The manual will explain how to get there and what to do about it.

Mine goes out within a few seconds of turning the machine on. Screen and the on/off button totally off.

Page 18 of the manual. Something about a light sensor.

I think he may have meant the knob, which stays lit with white light all the time.

My knob does not stay lit. However the start stop switch which is on the top of the device stays lit I think, however, I do not notice it it's so dim. If it really is annoying you can cover it with a small piece of electrical tape.
