Just not use your machine for a few nights I'm just kidding. I couldn't use it for 4 nights, b/c I had a cold and do not own a ff (yet). So last night was my first night and Voila', I felt great today. I'm guessing that is the reason, either that or the fact I went into adrenaline mode today after first thing this am @ work, finding an 86 yr old diabetic unresponsive with a blood sugar of 38!!! Didn't have time to feel tired. Amazing how short my cold lasted though, only 5 days compared to over a week before cpap therapy. I'm assuming that my immune system is healthier b/c I'm treating my OSA.
By the way, I just want to make sure, b/c I still keep seeing posts on this with conflicting views (although aren't they all) I do realize these are all opinions, although I value them all: apap/c-flex with CL2, works together? Any problems?
I know how to get that initial honeymoon feeling again!!

I didn't have any problem using autopap with C-flex and wearing the ComfortLite 2.NyNurse33 wrote:By the way, I just want to make sure, b/c I still keep seeing posts on this with conflicting views (although aren't they all) I do realize these are all opinions, although I value them all: apap/c-flex with CL2, works together? Same good results with my bipap auto and the CL2.
Used the pillows sometimes, and the "simple cushion" other times. I always placed a homemade strap across the front.

I noticed pior to being dianosed with Sleep Apnea.... that I felt MUCH better right after I got over having a cold. (Sure was misberable during having one though.)
I think that might because the meds for the cold keep my nose and sinus open.
I recently had septorhinoplasty and things have been much better, although I am still on AutoCPAP... but my presure came down some after surgery.
I can't comment on recovering from a cold since my nasal surgery.... I haven't had one since

I just had my first cold since CPAP. Started CPAP in April I think, and first cold now in the middle of Sept. It was really short - 4 days. Also it seemed like I had colds all the time preCPAP. I also wondererd if my imune system is healthier due to better sleep.
I was thinking about it just the other day, and I remember when I started feeling tired all the time. 4 - 5 year ago. I then spent years telling the doc that I was tired. Lyme tests, anemia tests, thyroid tests (all negative)..... That was about the time I started getting lots of respiratory colds that lasted a long time.
I really wonder if that was when my apnea really started getting bad and it affected my health in terms of frequent illnesses.
Time will tell with the upcoming cold and flu season.
