Any Husbands and Wifes out there treating with cpap together
My husband was the first. Its does seem like another poster put it that you are more in tune with the problem once someone makes you aware of it.
My wife and I both have Respironics auto BiPaP machines. They are sitting on our headboard, with a piece of non skid rubber under each.
We set the lights so that they are on if the machine is off. Then we each turn our machines on and the lights disappear. Our hoses loop below us and back up. She made a cover for both hoses.
Technically, I think we are supposed to put the machines lower than our heads due to rainout, but that has not been a problem here. I had rainout last June when we visited friends in Washington. Changed the HH numbers and it went away.
We use the EncorePro religously, love it. MyEncore Pro too.
Benefits are...no snoring, wake up refreshed, we understand each others problems with hoses, etc.
I wish we didn't need them, but we do. We use the Mirage Swift masks.
We are both healthier for having them. Good luck with yours, they are truly a good deal.

Installing Software is like pushing a rope uphill.
I have Encore Pro 1.8.65 but could not find it listed
under software.
I LOVE the SV.

My wife went first, maybe 3 years ago. A home test. I watched them harness her up and saw the uncomfortable rig....yuk.
Then...after not sleeping well for months, I told my pulmonologist I would go.
I got my machine May 8th I think it was, she went two more times, got her machine ten days ago. She used my backup machine for almost 3 months.
That is how we could over ride her "one night stand" of "6".
We laugh about it now. My keyboard is messing up, back later....Dave

I'm not married, but does a significant other count?
I am lucky in that we met because we both have sleep apnea. I was diagnosed first and started cpap first. He came soon after and it was love at first cpap encounter. Yes, I was worried at the logistics, but I found I was even luckier. He likes to sleep snuggled up behind me with his arm around me (which I love!), and I like sleeping with a fan so the breeze from his air holes is welcome! When I see those nice blue handsom eyes over that full face mask, I smile, and devise ways to make him hyperventilate in his mask. Traveling with our cpaps is strange and a challenge, but with a little humor ("You brought a pink extension cord?!?, he asks") it can be rather fun.

Guest, that is sweet! The vent from his mask giving you a welcome breeze!
After I was diagnosed and started on cpap, my bedmate left (first to the guestroom, and later forever). Couldn't stand the sound in general and especially before I got the right machine and setting and he could hear the bipap machine and me stop breathing as soon as I fell asleep.
I have a new bedmate finally in my life, and he is marvelous, compassionate and supportive, and he is able to sleep with the machine going. Even with the noisy deadspace vent setup, which is really loud.
This morning he fell back asleep after we woke and I watched him go into REM and have lots of hypopneas, some snores, and an apnea..
So...he is calling his primary care for a sleep study.
I am pretty happy about it as we have met relatively late in life and we want to have lots of life together energetically ahead
