myencore charts question
I have had the encore and myencore since 08/24/06. In reviewing the charts in myencore, three say there is "no data available" (variable breathing, seconds in apnea, average apnea duration). Do I need more information in the database for information to appear in these charts? Have I done something wrong in installing? The other charts come up fine with information in them. Are the three with no data vital to self-monitoring? Thanks.
Todd
P.S. My range on the machine is set from 4 to 11. Since getting the software, I have been able to determine that the machine ranges from 5 (my sleep study pressure) up to between 8 and 9 for the 90% pressure. It is all over the place actually, but the AHI stat is below 2 on average, which I hope is good (I do feel more rested compared to my past machine which I had set on 6 because I was snoring through at 5.).

Do you get all the data in Encore Pro? If so that's all you need, I do find time spent in Apnea, and number of Apneas of vaule, but they are reflected in AHI Scores anyway.
Variable breathing is pretty useless, it just reflects you had trouble breathing, go figure, as if we don't. Jim

Re: myencore charts question
Could it be that all of your AHI is from hypopneas, and so there is not apnea data for MyEncore to process? Don't know why that would affect variable breathing though.tmaiberger wrote:I have had the encore and myencore since 08/24/06. Jim and Bill,
Thanks for the replies. I will have to check on whether the information is in the encore database. I just have to read what came with the program to figure out how to do that first.
I did have one other question: on the chart that shows what pressures the APAP runs at can you easily scroll up? In other words, mine comes up with the low end of the pressure side of the chart visible, but the not the high end. I realize this is a stupid question, but I can not figure out if I have to save it to desktop to scroll or can I just scroll up (if I can then I am doing something wrong because it does not let me). Thanks.

I don't follow your question well, are you talking about MyEncore, daily pressure, the low pressure line shows but the high line isn't shown?
If so, goto MyEncore, preferences, right top to center, Pressure-Based Plot Preferences and reset to the ranges you need, then click on save preferences.
If that's not what you mean, please explain more. Jim

I, and others, have experienced similar problems with MyEncore. It seems as if MyEncore has problems with the database created by Encore Pro version 1.6. Those using version 1.57 (?) don't seem to have this problem.

I will try right clicking in the chart to see if the range can be adjusted that way. I did set the chart range in preferences to my range settings for the machine.
In reviewing the chart last night, there does not appear to be any data from the days I have downloaded into encore pro (there are no dates on the horizontal of the chart), the pressures show up on the vertical column starting with zero. I tried to go up, but there was still no data. Does this mean that the myencore is not able to find the data for that chart? Also, I did press the export pressure data button on the bottom of the chart and saved it to my desk top. When I opened it, there was information regarding the pressures, but no information regarding the date. At this point, I am really just curious and not concerned I cannot look at the chart since I do get most of the reports anyway and am very pleased to actually be able to see what is going on.
Thanks again for all the help and responses.

cflame1 - I've got either "no data available" or a blank graph for secs in apnea, avg. apnea duration, daily pressures and daily leaks. I see you've got the older Remstar. If you're not having problems with these myencore graphs, maybe the myencore bug has something to do with the M series and Encore Pro version 1.6
