Due to a bad cold (in September??) I'm having to pull my ComfortFull 2 out of the drawer and try to get it to work tonight. However, I notice that now the O2 valve, the little cap on the front of the mask used to administer oxygen if needed, won't stay closed. Even without air pressure, it pops open within a few seconds after I close it.
It's a fairly small vent and I'm wondering if it will make the mask significantly more or less effective. Has anyone else ever had this happen?
Thanks.

I have had it open on it's own and have even had to remove the mask to push it back on. If it wouldn't stay on I would use Hot Melt Glue on it, or if I had more time Epoxy. Even a piece of Duct Tape or Medical tape should hold it on for a few nights. JiM

That was my first mask, the bridge of my nose hurts just thinking of it
My oxygen port would not stay closed either but a Little crazy glue fixed that problem.
I would not sleep with it open because that is not how the mask was designed to work.
