Encore Pro trumps bad sleep study...

Good News, Bad news:

Bad news...embarrassing...a few months ago several supervisors in Tricare told me our new limit for getting DME equipment without an authorization was $2,000. I called several supervisors and was told the same thing. They had a huge sale on the Respironics Auto BiPAPs, including HH for $1,099 plus $8 shipping. I bought her one and started the paperwork to be reimbursed. Thinking I had saved my insurance company several thousand dollars. You know the drill, yes no problem, wait, it isn't $2,000 the limit is $500. Then I hear it is $2,000 and you will be reimbursed. No it isn't $2,000, it is $500.
I haven't given up, but I may have an expensive back-up. As I say, I have NOT given up.

Anyway, with all the morphine in me I cannot remember which story was current the last time I posted, but as of this moment.

My wife's sleep study titration score was a 6. Our family doctor sent her for the sleep study. He saw the 6 and I showed him the Encore Pro data. It shows her numbers twice the 6 on most nights. He went with the Encore Pro and specifically stated, on the prescription, Respironics Auto BiPAP with HH.

Courtnee again. She told me the 6 was still in the mix, but she thought we could still get it with the Encore Pro data. We did.

So, if you get a sleep study with a real low score and you have Encore Pro data to refute it, you have a good chance of getting the machine your doctor
specified. We did.

Installing Software is like pushing a rope uphill.
I have Encore Pro 1.8.65 but could not find it listed
under software.

I LOVE the SV.
