Pressure Question

Post by OSAGuy » Sat Sep 02, 2006 9:49 am

When I started using my Remstar Auto about three years ago I wore a size 9 hat. Three years later my head has expanded to the point where I now wear a size 12 - That's a full hat size expansion every year. I'm really concerned, because if I stay at this another 30 year I could be up to a size 42 hat. Three questions: 1. Coyld this expansion be caused by excessive pressure in my Remstar Auto? 2. How do I solve it? 3. If I can't solve the problem where do I find a size 42 hat?

Simple!

Post by GoofyUT » Sat Sep 02, 2006 9:53 am

There's a simple solution to that! Every year or so, simply prick your head with a shisk-ka-bob skewer (with the handle part covered with Moleskin, of course) and let all that pressurized air out! Before you know it, your head will be back to a svelte size 12! (JUST KIDDING!!!)

Cheers!

Best solution is to quit wearing hats....or go to stocking caps or something like that.

I doubt if it's form CPAP.

Best wishes,

You are getting a swelled head from thinking how smart you were for getting a APAP.

You could go on vacation to Africa every year, I hear they have a tribe with a Dr. that can make your head smaller again. Jim

I don't think the cpap would cause that.

Maybe reading this forum to much is expanding your brain?

Tooly125's right, all that knowledge has to end up somewhere, you are lucky, I think I'm storing it in the middle. Jim

Skewer

Post by OSAGuy » Sat Sep 02, 2006 11:56 am

So, Goofy, I tried your suggestion about using the skewer. Didn't work and now I have the skewer stuck in my head. What do I do know?

OSA Guy-I don't mean to make fun of you, but that post made me laugh until I cried. I just don't think it's the cpap.

Why, download the data from the skewer's card using MySkewer, of course!

Don't worry about it. I don't even know what my hat size is, as I don't wear one. Just trying to keep my mind off my upcoming surgery.

Skewer removal sugestions

Post by fujiinator » Sat Sep 02, 2006 12:27 pm

OSA Guy if the Skewer is still stuck here are a few ideas that might help.

1. tie a string to a door or heavy object and then attach it to the end of the skewer. (Make sure that when door or object is closed or dropped that you are prepared to go with it if the skewer does not come out!!!)

2. You can use the skewer to hang items from like those car air fresheners

3. If it is still long enough carefully light the end on fire so you can see in the dark to get to the front door. Caution be prepared to snuff out the flame before your hair or other imporrtant things catch fire.

4. Live with the skewer where it is and hang a paper doll from it and introduce it as your friend Woody!!
