HELP -- ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Post by Arizona-Willie » Mon Aug 28, 2006 3:35 pm

I just built myself a new computer and am installing software for a fresh start.

BUT I CAN'T FIND MY SOFTWARE FOR MY RESMED CARD READER!!!!

I have been tearing my computer room apart and I < KNOW > it is here somewhere. I hope I didn't throw it out in a cleaning fit.

My card reader is sitting here blinking at me, my data card is ready, but no software.

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Do you want US to guess where YOU put it???

OK......
Did you check to see if it's stuck in with the manuals that came with your XPAP?
How about the box that the card reader came in?
Is your old computer still running? Did you copy it off onto your hard drive?

Good luck!

How about in with the mask DVDs?
With the income tax software.
Every darn thing has a DVD/CD/CDROM with it these days and they like to travel together.

Ask Google. They have a new interface that might help.

See the screenshot below.

I'll bet you it's on your OLD computer.

If you hooked up your card reader to that one, it would stop blinking, ...unless it's worn out by now.

UPDATE ON PROBLEM

Post by Arizona-Willie » Tue Aug 29, 2006 3:00 pm

My data files are intact for the reading I had so far. I copied the Resmed directory from the old hard drive to the new one.

The software comes up and I can view my data file!!

But, when it tries to access the card reader it says the card does not contain data from an S8 device!

So, the remaining problem seems to be a driver for the card reader.

Reckon I will just start writing the numbers from the machine down every morning and put them in a spreadsheet and do the averages for myself.

I've been trying to track my averages as I gradually increase the pressure to see when benefits of increasing stop.

Nice to have the software do it all for me.

One of these days, after I've given up finding the cd for the reader I will come across the missing cd.
