Puritan Bennett Sandman Intro HC has service light flashing

Post by scoobysnack » Sat Apr 09, 2016 11:05 am

Hi everyone,

Last night my CPAP stopped running and came up with a SERVICE light flashing. Would you know the best way I can take care of this. Is there a reset button or do I need to take it in to a place to have it looked at? I'm basically looking for an easy fix but if I have to have it serviced would I be able to do it over the phone or does it need to go to a place that can service it? Thank you

unplug and plug it back in.

If that doesn't help call manufacturer and find out where to send it for repairs.

Buy a back up.

I'm sorry to hear that.
However, I think you're screwed unless you can find some place to fix it.......which will most likely cost MUCH more than buying a different one. Here are some links that follow the progression of the companies which have a history with your machine.

You could try http://www.acbio.com and see if they have some ideas. They mostly work on ResMed and Philips/Respironics, but might have be able to steer you somewhere to have it fixed.

Other than that, I'd suggest looking at http://www.secondwindcpap.com and see if they have a different machine in your price range.
