Got a AirSense 10 Autoset from MIL, how to switch from S9?

Post by Stelring » Thu Apr 07, 2016 3:33 pm

My ResMed S9 was wheezing and I couldn't figure out what is wrong with it.

My mother in law decided she didn't want to use her new Airsense 10 Autoset so now I have it.

How do I 'migrate' from the S9 correctly?

Do I just take out the SD from the S9 and put it in the AirSense?

Or do I have to somehow figure out all my settings and input them into the Airsense?

I'm pretty tech savvy, so all I need is some pointers/intstructions/links.

Thanks all!!
-Sterling

get the clinicians manual from the link at the top of the front page of apneaboard.com.

you'll have to transfer over your settings.

Ok, will do.

Is that something that is done with the display/keys on the machines themselves?

Or do I need a special instrument to do that?

I see some sort of oddball connector on both of these machines and was wondering what those were for.

no it is just a trick combination of buttons. The manual will show you how.

But make sure your MIL can actually give it to you. Did she buy it or was it through insurance? And if it was through insurance has she met compliance so it is hers?

If Medicare is involved, she may not even own it.
