Hello there,
I would appreciate any help from this forum
I am new to this forum and only using CPAP for 2 weeks.
My AHI with home study was 26.2. I suspect i have Sleep Apnea for 5/6 years. Before CPAP use, i use to sleep for at least 7/8 hours on weekdays but was hard to wake up everyday. Now i would wake up 6 am everyday and couldn't go back to sleep. I like the mask, it doesn't hurt at all. AHI comes below 4 most of the night. Pressure is set to 5-15. It stays between 11 to 13.5 as i wake up sometimes an noticed. Humidity is at 6. Also at night , i would wake up few time (3/4) and go back to sleep right away without any issues. Now I wake up with heavy head and no sleepiness. But i would keep yawning almost whole day but not sleepy. Last Few days i tried to take a nap after work, I couldn't . Before CPAP, 3 hours naps after work were my favorite. No i always feel like that a bit of fulfilling sleep stuck in my brain and i am not able to reach it.
I am 35 year old. I have low T which is 270. BMI is good. MY T level is Ok as per doctor but it is at the bottom range for my age. I always eats 80% right food and worked out 3/4 days a weeks, without much muscle gain. Now it makes sense with my low t that why i was not gaining much.
I am not sure whats going on. I seem to super stressed out about this heavy head, tired feels i don't wanna think of anything just lie down and sleep. I also have low libido as for newly wed but as per doctor i am physically fine for sex, may have mental anxiety. Not sure whats doing on.
Is there anything i am doing wrong? How long does it take to get the best result.
I know we have discussed these in other post but every persons situation is different. I appreciate any comments or help.
Thanks

You need to bump up the low setting of 5 to e.g. at least 9 - possibly more in future depending on how you feel - give it a few nights there and let us know.

2 weeks is not too long, so it might take a while to really feel the results - but it's good your ahi is already so much better, and it sound spike some of your symptoms are getting better, even if it's not quite 'better' you sound like you are on the right track.
It's worth downloading sleepyhead if you can to keep track of your progress. Sometimes seeing he numbers can help you accept you are getting better, even if it doesn't feel like it.
