Problems with CMS-50F and Sleepyhead and SPO2 ASSISTANT

Post by Arizona-Willie » Fri Apr 01, 2016 11:16 am

This morning I connected my PO and turned it on then started Sleepyhead after having first downloaded the data from my S9.

Nothing showed up although it appeared to download the data.

Then I tried running SPO2 Assistant and it downloaded the data and I was able to save it.

So far so good.

Then I went into Sleepyhead and tried to get data from the SPO2 Assistant file and it showed no files other than the demo file.

Looked with File Explorer -- no files but the demo file

WTH?

Go back into SPO2 ASSISTANT open files .... there are several files showing besides the demo. I had played around and saved a report and had previously downloaded the data from the PO a few days ago so there was more than one file.

But neither File Explorer or Sleepyhead will see those files ... only SPO2 ASSISTANT sees anything besides the demo.

The file extensions on those files appear to be correct.

Don't know why SH appeared to download the data but it disappeared or where it went to. There was a definite progress bar as it downloaded the data --- or thought it did.

Nor do I understand why the SPO2 ASSISTANT files do not show up in File Explorer ( yes I have it set to show hidden files and file extensions ).

I have gotten it to where SPO2 assistant shows the files and then backed up directory levels and yes it is looking at C:/ Programfiles (x86) / SPO2 ASSISTANT / DATA so File Explorer should show those files but it isn't nor does SH see them.

What is wrong and how do I fix it?

windows lies about where the files are, do a file search in file explorer to find out where it's saving the actual files on your system.

really annoying "feature" of windows.
