Downloaded data into sleepyhead in another time zone

Post by cathyf » Thu Mar 31, 2016 9:57 pm

I was in Eastern time zone last weekend, and on Sunday morning I downloaded the data on my card into Sleepyhead. Poked around a little, everything was fine. Then, a few minutes ago, back at home in Central time, I loaded data again.

Ok, now all of my graphs up until Saturday night have two sets of lines one hour apart. For the last 18 months of data.

Oops!

I'm thinking that I should be able to create a new profile and download the data into it, and in the future don't go loading data with the time zone on my computer set to anything other than Central time!

try doing a data rebuild.

sleepyhead asks all those annoying questions about time zone and country and other crap when creating a profile, then uses *none* of that.... it goes by whatever timezone your computer is set to.

I'm scared by the following message on rebuild:
Are you sure you want to rebuild all CPAP data for the following machine:

ResMed AutoSet 37028 (22141371252)

Please note, that this could result in loss of graph data if SleepyHead's internal backups have been disabled or interfered with in any way.
I have a disk image with all of the files in my card's DATALOG directory. Actually, it's got all of the files on my current card and my previous card. So I should be safe, right?

a rebuild is the only way to fix the sleepyhead working data.

if you didn't turn off the automatic backups sleepyhead does on import, the data it needs is all there.
