Well. taping it could cause you to wake up when taking the mask off if the tape is sticky enough to cause a bit of pain on removal. For that purpose placing a piece of tape or bandaid over a strap onto your cheek should suffice. You shouldn't have to tape the mask itself. If you register with the forum and list your equipment, you will get more targeted input. Ideally you could address getting a better fit on your mask to help avoid some of the problems. There are usually fitting guides for masks, and other users can share what worked for them with your particular mask. In general, many of us have learned tricks to give our masks a bit of extra support. How to accomplish that depends on mask style. Also in general, hose management so that the hose doesn't tug on the mask can help, as can a flat firm pillow your face doesn't sink into or sleeping with your mask off the edge of the pillow. You'll figure things out. Can be a bit frustrating at first, but these things are usually resolvable.
