Adjustment period and results

Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum and sleep apnea. I was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea a month ago. I have been using the CPAP responsive machine for only 2 weeks. My question is how long did it take you to get used to the machine and how long was it before you felt the result? I initially went to a sleep clinic because I was keeping my husband up. Now I feel like he is the only one reaping any benefit to me using this machine so your stories would help me. Thanks!

Would you give us some more info, please. What machine are you using, and model #? If you have to turn the machine over to get model #, be sure and dump the water out first. What mask are you using? Did you get a copy of your sleep report? (By law, you are entitled to a copy of your sleep report). Do you know what pressures you are using? There is a program called Sleepyhead which will enable you to find out how well this therapy is working for you. If you look at the top of the first page here, you'll see, "Pugsy's Pointers", which will tell you all about Sleepyhead.

I know... lots of questions... but the more info you give us, the easier it will be for people to help you.
