And who says that the B&M DMEs are having a hard time making any profit?
AND, leave it to our bureaucrats to waste our tax dollars......
It just defies logic.

Using CPAP.com as my personal DME?
Re: Using CPAP.com as my personal DME?
Just curious as to why you would want to submit your own forms. Isn't there an option via CPAP.com called "billmyinsurance.com?"jdschooler wrote:... Anyway I am thinking of doing all of my purchases through CPAP.com and personally submitting my own insurance form (HCFA 1500) to Blue Cross to save me some money (and save BC) because let's face it. Blue Cross pays 80% of their allowable and I have to pay the rest so I can save us both alot of money by getting my stuff on-line....
Amigo,
This is an old thread that apparently got pulled out by the spammers. Christinequilts made a post to it and I was commenting on her post. With regard to the billmyinsurance.com, I'm quite sure this thread originated quite some time before BMI did.
Best wishes,
Den

Thanks, Den.
Blue Cross
You might want to double check your infomraiton. What they told you sounds partially correct, except that when you don;t use a prefered provider (in network provider). I also use Blue Cross and had been with Blue Cross of ND at one time. If you don;t use an in network provider you will be paying a higher decudctible. You might check out billmyinsurance.com. My current Blue Cross provider is considered an in network provider with them.

The only problem with that is that billmyinsurance.com bills the same rates the DME companies do. It still ended up costing me the same amount.Amigo wrote:jdschooler wrote: Just curious as to why you would want to submit your own forms.
