I:E Ratio on Sleepyhead

Post by Thatgirl » Mon Feb 22, 2016 9:44 am

What is the significance of I:E ratio? I know typically 1:2 is a normally I:E ratio, and a higher expiratory time can indicated airway obstruction. I also know I:E ratio can drop during sleep. I'm just curious what numbers other people see, I guess, and when it starts becoming more significant.

I don't have an answer to your question but it brought up a question of my own while checking my data for your question. We both have the same machine and the only difference should be that you are using auto and I am using fixed. My machine shows the separate insp. and exp. graphs but not the I:E Ratio on the graphs or left side, even though it is turned on. I'm wondering if it is due to the mode differences (which doesn't make sense), or one of the glitches with AirCurve and Sleepyhead.

It's a compiled beta this is a screenshot from, not the current release. So it will probably be added when the next update is released?
