Does anyone else have trouble readjusting to the mask of you get woken up and have to take it off?

Why would you "have to" take it off?

Sometimes when I have to get up in the night to use the bathroom I have to take my mask off. It is a rare thing for me though. When I do have to do that it is usually only a short amount of time and I am back asleep. Just something I believe you get used to as it happens. Just part of the process. Or you could find a way to rig up multiple hoses that makes it long enough to where you keep the mask going while you are in the bathroom. Never take it off or stop the cpap air from flowing. You could try that! Or just get used to it.

What kind of mask do you have

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Guest drive by?

Hook a bunch of hoses together so it will reach the john, get real. Ten feet is the maximum length of hose allowed, just move the John to the bed.

If it takes more than a minute to put your mask on remove your mittens. Jim

My machine is in auto mode, something like 6-11. If I wake in the middle of the night I'll often find it leaking and uncomfortable, and what I've found is that if I turn it off and back on, it'll start back at low pressure with the ramp, and I have plenty of time to fall back asleep without being annoyed by the leaking/sound/etc.

Of course, it'll ramp back up when needed, and it'll leak and become noisy, but by then I'll be asleep, and these things don't waken me, though they might keep me from falling asleep easily.

So consider stopping and restarting the machine if you're not already doing that, it may make going back to sleep easier depending on your machine settings.
