Eleventh Night, Rest of My Life to Go

I haven't been posting the last few days because there was really nothing to post. Things have been going well. The 420E with the Ultra Mirage FF mask seem to be working just fine except for mask leaks when the pressure gets above ~15. It wakes me, I adjust a bit and then off to sleep again. Sweetie says I'm not tossing or turning any more and since my snoring has gone away, she's getting plenty of rest also. I awake feeling rested, but still deep-down-inside tired from sleep debt.

A bit of good news about cooperation between my insurance company administrator and cpap.com is in order today, though. I've been working with insurance rep to get authorized to buy a 420E with heated humidifier and the SilverLining software from cpap.com. A couple of days ago, the DME finally came out with some $$ figures for the rental and I contacted the insurance rep and explained the we could save over $1100 by purchasing a setup from cpap.com. I got in touch with cpap.com, they tried to contact insurance rep, he got back to them, then back to me. To make a long story short, last night I ordered the complete 420E w/humidifier package & software from cpap.com after having received a fax from insurance rep stating that I'd be reimbursed fully! WOOWOO!! I'll keep the mask from the DME, but it was actually only about $10 more than at cpap.com. Needless to say, I'm a very happy hosehead now! Only problem is that cpap.com is out of the SilverLining software at the moment, but they will ship it to me ASAP when they get more in (scheduled to arrive 2/28 ). I'll be able to return my rental unit to DME anytime before 3/14 and they will cancel the rental.

Thanks to all on the board for the advice and encouragement. I read the posts every morning. It gives me a definite lift to know that "I am NOT alone" (saw the Peter Jennings UFO special last night...LOL).
