A few questions: My Encore Times off and ...

Post by Justin Case » Thu Aug 24, 2006 1:04 pm

1. Why are my times off for total use considerably different than the data from the Encore software? For example, Encore for 08/18 says 9:37 minutes and My Encore says 8.25 hrs.

2. Why does only the previous date show when downloading? Right now, I can see in Encore 2006-08-24 but the most I can see with My Encore is 08/23. I am using v1.5B7(MY ENCORE) and 1.622 (ENCORE).

Thanks

Because Encore Pro tells time in hours and minutes and MyEncore tells time in hours and hundredth's of hours. 8:00 vers 8.00 Jim

Apples and Oranges, It's a good thing they don't make time in Metric too.

Time-keeping

Post by GoofyUT » Thu Aug 24, 2006 8:15 pm

Yeah, but that doesn't explain the difference in HOURS that this fella had on 8/01. I understand that it would account for the difference between seconds and hundredths, but not hours.

There's something funky about the time-keeping on the RemStar. When I first got mine, there was a difference of about 13 hours between the blower hours and the therapy hours. Two weeks later, that difference went up to 25 hours. Now, two weeks later, its down to 20.

I know that the RemStar's internal clock is set by EncorePro based on the host computer's system clock, but I can't understand why the time between blower hours and therapy hours keeps on changing, since I am ONLY using the damn thing with the damn mask on.

Any ideas????

RemStar's internal clock isn't set by Encore Pro, It is only set at the factory to GMT, when you download, your computer, figures out your time based on your computer clock and the time you want your day to start in Encore Pro,edit demographics, start of day.

Maybe Encore Pro, doesn't count Ramp, or even awake time, don't know that one, but I think it does count awake time. Jim

The numbers still don't add up: 9:37 vs 8.25.
