Headgear Allergies

A little help, please. Been a Bipap user since 1994. Isn't that long enough? Currently, I use a Breeze headgear, with either the pillows or the dreamseal mask, but I am having trouble with the synthetic straps. I am allergic to neopreme and most other poly, nylon blend materials. I am constantly itching and red from those things. Has anyone found headgear that is extremely hypoallergenic? I have tried allot, but obviously not all. If additional info is needed, let me know.

Have you tried PAD-A-CHEEKS? I use them on the straps and have no more irritation. I got the ones that have 100% cotton outside so only the cotton touches your skin.

Have not tried them. Do I need to specifically ask for the cotton? Thank you for your help.

They have the plain fleece or the fleece lined cotton. You get to choose colors.

I want to chime in with another recommendation for Pad-A-Cheeks. They are very comfortable. I use the cotton, since I am sensitive to polyester.

I have neoprene, etc. allergies too.
I use PadACheeks and they solve the problem. No neoprene in touch with my skin only soft PadACheek cotton!

Thanks. I have asked my Dr and he just looked at me like I was crazy. I told him I was allergic to the material in the strap formation. I even tried changing shampoo and it didn`t help.
I tried adding moleskin over the straps, but only helped a little.
Never heard of Padacheeks . I will check it out.
