AirSense 10- AHI?

Post by Guest » Fri Nov 13, 2015 12:50 pm

Last night was my first night to use the AirSense 10 ResMed. I'm coming out of a S9 which I loved. I noticed that the AirSense is a little louder than the S9. Does anyone agree? Also I can't pull up the AHI. It only shows the time of sleep. Instruction book gives no more info. I'm using to diving deep into the menus with the S9. Is there a good website or review that you can point me to in order to find more info on the Airsense 10?

Hold down the round knob and the 'Home" bar at the same time for about 5 seconds. The clinical menu will appear. Scroll down to ESSENTIALS. Change that to PLUS. Exit clinical menu, your original home screen will now display lots more info, including AHI. The report needs to be set for "1 day" to get your daily numbers.

Here is the clinical guide. https://sleep.tnet.com/home/files/resme ... -guide.pdf
I believe you have to change the essentials to plus to get the AHI.

Which model? There are several and I believe there is one that collects either none or minimal data.
The "Autoset" and the "Elite" are fully data capable CPAP machines as are the VPAP models.

So, which Airsense 10 do you have?
The Elite and Autoset will give lots of data, the Autoset For Her even more,
but the "cpap" very little--it is basically the renamed Escape.

Can anyone point me to specific information about the "For Her" magical algorithm? I see it mentioned quite often but I'm trying to find out what exactly is different about it.

Does the machine make different adjustments? If so, what are they?

All APAP algorithms are proprietary which is why a lot of sleep doctors don't like them.
