Better luck tomorrow night Mets fans.
Unfortunately, I suspect with the pitching matchups tonight, they may have better luck. Then again, I thought the Royals didn't have a chance against Familia since he hadn't blown a save in weeks.

Great game and I loved the ending.

As Cardsfan- My team didn't make it very far. Next, I rooted for the Cubbies- gotta love the underdog and Wrigley Field is the best place to EVER see a game. Cubs fell apart. Now, I'm on to rooting for the Royals. I did keep it local since I live on the boarder of Illinois/Missouri.
Go ROYALS>

Five runs in the 12th; can we say "determination"?

All the managers of the other baseball teams, particularly if they are in charge of ones that have a reputation for choking under pressure, should consistently play tapes of the Kansas Royals comeback wins. Particularly show the team how players instead of trying to be a swing for the fences type of hero, are content to do whatever is necessary to get on base and keep the line moving when runs are desperately needed.
