Puritian Bennett Hose Connection to Mask

Post by hoyle » Sat Aug 19, 2006 10:15 am

Hi
I recently purchased a Puritian Bennett APAP 420E along with the hose. The hose has a smaller (?pressure) hose inside running from machine to mask. I understand how to connect the smaller hose to the pressure port on the machine.
But how do i connect this pressure tubing to the mask i use? I use both a Resmed UltraMirage FFM and a Fisher Paykel Flexfit 431 FFM.
Are there special connectors which can attached to the masks?

The little tube inside the big hose does not connect to anything. It is a pressure sensor line and simple determines the pressure near or in the mask or other face seal. No worries. Just NEVER get water inside that little tube. If you do blow hard into the little tube to get the water out or your machine will act crazy until the water drops are removed.
