I recently was blessed witht he opportunity to acquire a virtually brand-new Remstar Auto w/ C-flex and a new UMFF in my size for an unbelievable price. I've been using it since, and will soon post a comparative set of impressions bewteen the Remstar and my original ResMed S8 AutoSet Vantage.
Here's my question though: When I acquired the Remstar, I checked the blower hours which were 13.4 hours more than the therapy hours. However, I've now used it for three weeks, and that difference has grown to about 25 hours. I've been using the Remstar consistently and compliantly EVERY night (about 8 hours). So, HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN????
I'd welcome any thoughts.

Maybe if it is just blowing at your lowest pressure it wont count that as therapy?
Just a guess
Just a guess
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body totally worn out and screaming,WOO HOO what a ride!
If you're using the ramp feature, any ramp times that are lower than your minimun auto range pressure (or your single cpap pressure) do not count as therapy hours. At least, this is what seemed to be the case with my PB 420G
