ResMed s9

Post by KarenK » Sun Oct 18, 2015 1:30 pm

I have had this unit for 3 years or so, and now am wondering...

When I go on a trip, as I do not need the humidifier at all, can I just take one side of the machine and get a plain hose to attach to the side of the main unit? I know I cannot use the humidifier hose as the orange piece obstructs, but I am thinking a plain hose will work...correct me if I am wrong.

Yes a plain hows will work .... also you can reverse the heated hose and use it.

there are two for sale here: viewtopic/t108283/Masks-and-Hoses-for-Sale.html
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Get the Clinicians manual here : http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual

Interesting my heated hose cannot be reversed to use with just the cpap (no humidifier attached ) tried it a couple weeks ago.
