Need a new machine

Post by gregnga » Thu Sep 24, 2015 2:12 pm

I am thinking of getting another CPAP machine. I currently have a Remstar Auto C-Flex machine made by Repsronics that has served me well for the last 10 years. I want something portable that I can take with me when I travel. I almost bought a Resperonics M Series several years ago. I prefer to limit it to Philips Resperonics or Res-Med brands. Can you recommend something that is somewhat portable.

If you are planning on using battery power the Respironics machines are 12 volt and are easier to power off a 12 volt battery. The 24 volt ResMed machines require a DC converter($84) to power off 12 volt. I travel with my Respironics Bipap 760 a lot. It's not as portable as the so called travel machines but if you want a home and travel machine it works well for me.

Search this forum for comments about the Z1. Apparently all travel machines are problematic. Also Respironics is soon coming out with new machines. Sometime in Oct.
