Can anyone recommend a great sleep Dr in the Philly/S Jersey area? Thanks

Unusual question. Most people are limited to the options available through their insurance. Are you paying out of pocket? It can be quite expensive - I've seen people mention four or five thousand. Home testing rentals are also available which can be much cheaper but not provide as much information as a sleep lab.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any in that area.

What you might want to do is go to this site, http://www.healthgrades.com/ and search for sleep doctors in that area to see what type of reviews they get and then cross reference with other patient review sites to see what comes up. But this is obviously not foolproof.

You might look at the magazine for Philly that lists the best doctors in the area to see if you can find any sleep docs listed. In my area, unfortunately, sleep medicine isn't listed as a specialty so you have to look under Neurology or Pulmonology. And of course, just because a doc is good in neurology or pulmunology doesn't mean they would be a good sleep doctor.

Sorry, I wish I had better answers for you but hopefully, this helps somewhat.

It's not an unusual question ...it's an unusual answer. The OP is looking for a doctor and you are telling him/her how expensive equipment is.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
