For example, what works best for me is to have my minimum pressure set to 13 with my max at 20, but I have a severe non-cpap AHI of 80. The data will let us see what is happening when you sleep. USB card readers are available cheaply on amazon if none of your computers has an SD memory card reader - many laptops do.

It's good that you asked for help here. The cpap should be making a big difference in your life. If not, then some changes need to be made in settings, masks, machines, etc. If it's some other factor, it's likely that people can help you figure out what that is too, like medication, sleep hygiene, etc.

Install SleeyHead and get an SD card reader if you need one. Being able to see what happened overnight, breath-by-breath, is fascinating!
Thanks so much for your encouraging words I am looking forward to a new begining

You are most welcome! Let us know if you need recommendation for SD card readers - there are plenty that are cheap on amazon with good ratings.

It's unfortunate that DMEs and doctors often drop the ball after providing the equipment - that's NOT the end of the story, but the beginning. Far more people would be able to stick with the therapy if they got the help they needed after they got their equipment.

When you get a chance, please edit your profile and add your equipment to the equipment section - select text display instead of images. Then everyone will see what you are using every time you post.

Did you get a copy of your sleep study after it was done? If not, please request it - it's your medical record that you are entitled to a copy of and it contains valuable information.

Thanks so much for your input I checked and my computer will accept the SD card from my cpap machine and my first attempt at loading sleepy head was not the best. I will study the tutourial by pugsey and try again.
