Amara View Flexible Hose Leaks Moisture

Post by JRK52804 » Sat Sep 19, 2015 6:07 pm

The spot where the Amara View flexible hose joins the regular hose will start to leak moisture after about 3 hours of use. Does anyone else have this problem any suggestions on how to eliminate the leaking?

That's condensation and it shouldn't be leaking water anywhere within the circuit. That would also mean potential for big leak which would/could be a serious issue.

Are you sure it isn't getting blown out the vent holes on your mask? I have had water get blown out the vent holes and that wouldn't be all that impossible and other than annoying, not all that big of a deal.

What machine are you using? Your equipment profile points to an older series ResMed machine.

If the bedroom is humid, I would not rule out condensation on the outside of the hose.
A cold room may cause condensation on the inside of the hose.
