Power failure

Post by Woody4 » Mon Sep 07, 2015 6:19 am

Last night my power went out for a moment. Well before I could switch to my battery backup
the power came back on. But something wasn't right my old Remstar auto wasn't working right.
Somehow the power failure had reset my pressure to 4" and I had to reset it to 13" to 15" .
As I was doing this at 4 am I wasn't as clear of mind as I usually am and may have hit some
other buttons because it looks like my cumulative blower hours now just reads the 2 hours after
my reset. Well I wonder how that happened.

You must have really been pushing buttons all over the place. Been there myself.

Take the time today to go through it thoroughly. Even if you got to the clinical setup menu and did the reset of the data thing the total run hours can't be reset to 0. Therapy hours yes, total use hours no.
If it really did to a total hour reset then I would be worried that there was possibly a surge involved which may have damaged the machine....if that is possible (I don't do the electric stuff well).
Odd that it came back to 4 cm too...so makes me wonder. Shouldn't have done that.
