So glad to find this forum!

I just started CPAP therapy (DeVilbiss IntelliPAP and SwiftFX nose pillow). Last night was night no. 3, and I got 8 hours! I'm already feeling better during the day.

One thing that has continued to happen is that if I wake up for any reason during the night, my nose will get stuffy and I will have to sneeze a few times. It's not stuffy at the moment I awaken, but it gets that way quickly, as soon as I wake up.

Anyone else? If so, what do you do about it? Last night I tried higher humidity which may have helped a little... but I also feel like it's too early to say--maybe I slept better because I am just getting used to the machine.

The sneezing is probably related to the humidity and that's something you will just need to play with to see what your nasal mucosa needs.
Some people need a lot of added moisture (that would be myself as I get horrible sneezy, runny nose & congestion issues if I don't get enough moisture) but some people do better with minimal to no added moisture.

Welcome to the forum.

+1, Heya Pugsy

What I have found is that when I take the mask off it's almost like the inside of my nose rebounds with the sudden decrease in pressure. I have a problem with the start in that I feel like I am getting congested when the pressure increases and then when the pressure stops it's like everything lets lose and my poor nose just does not know what to make of it.
Sleeping MUCH better now
