Swallowing air

Post by acctingman » Mon Aug 17, 2015 11:17 am

Resperonics C-Flex/Swift Nasal pillow Mask user

Quick question....

I've finally got my adjustments made to my prescription and I'm now able to get a restful nights sleep, but I notice that I wake up having to burp, a lot!...so I must be swallowing some air. I'm using a chin strap and feel it keeps my mouth closed decently, but obviously I'm getting air inside my belly!

Anyone else experience this? Any fixes that worked for you?

Thanks

i don't have the answer, but i'm looking forward to seeing one. i have a similar problem and i use a nasal pillow mask and chinstrap as well.

hopefully, someone who knows will reply....
people say i'm self absorbed.

Do a forum search for 'aerophagia' - lots of info has been discussed about it.
