dcr surgery

Has anyone had this surgery to enlarge the duct from the corner of the eye into the nose? My doc recommends it, as I'm getting infections in the duct, but I'm scared that will affect my cpap therapy, i.e. have air blow out the passage from the mouth/nose to they eye. Anyone?

I hope you will consider getting a second or even third opinion if you are contemplating having this surgery. It sounds like something you wouldn't want to do unless absolutely necessary.
