Hi,
How do I figure out how many days a RESMED S9 was used if it says it has 8000+ hours on it?

8000 hours on Resmed S9
Re: 8000 hours on Resmed S9
Divide 8,000 by some number greater than 4 and less than 10 hours per day for the potential number of days used. With that many hours , I would guess that the patient was somewhat compliant with therapy. Therefore the machine is somewhere between 3? and 7? years old.

Why do you want/need to know?Andrea1010 wrote:Hi,

Is it your own machine......a machine you're looking at purchasing......or something else?
There should be a screen that shows the number of nights of use greater than 4 hrs.
However, some data can be cleared from these screens.

Re: 8000 hours on Resmed S9
Resmed S9 only stores total run hours past a year.
Average/total use and days with 4+ hours will only be shown for the last year, at most.

If you assume 8 hours use per day, that would be 1000 days, or just under 3 years.Andrea1010 wrote:How do I figure out how many days a RESMED S9 was used if it says it has 8000+ hours on it?
Apply whatever adjustments to that calculation you think may be appropriate, but somewhere in the 3 to 4 year range would be a most likely outcome
Cheers,
