Haven't noticed discussion of the possibility that OP is hypoxic, other than his own comments about desats being in the 70's before CPAP. That is seriously low.

So, unless I am missing something and unless OP is on supplemental nighttime oxygen, suggest that he do his own overnight pulse oximeter studies. May be worth the small investment.

Also, wonder if he is dehydrated.
