Resumed climate control question

Post by fms3238 » Mon Jun 22, 2015 7:37 pm

I have a resmed s9 cpap machine. My DME told me that to adjust the humidity level I just turn the temperature setting up. When I was reading about machine I came across some information that stated that the humidity is set at 80%. I noticed if I take my climate control tube off the humidity control is in numbers. If I adjust that setting will that setting carry over after I put the hose on.

Thank you all in advance.

it should not, you'd have to change the humidity setting configuration.

the 80% is 80% relative humidity, the absolute humidity changes with temperature, higher temp, more moisture.

See it here:

By using a climate line you have two options:

1- manual mode, you set the temp and humidity independently, but rainout protection is not guaranteed
2- auto mode, you only set the temp to preference (default setting 27C = 80.6F) and rainout protection is guaranteed.

If using the slimline you then set the humidity to preference (numbers up to 6) but no rainout protection.
