Encore Software

Is there a way to get the Encore software without shelling out $$?

Yes.
But many of us like Sleepyhead much more and it is only available for free.

Yes, sleepyhead is so much better but since he already has that listed in his equipment profile, he probably has a good reason for wanting the encore software.

Also might want to check that you have the latest version of sleepyhead which is Sleepyhead beta v0.9.8-1-Testing OpenGL.
