Which one did I want? I said the second one. The sleep doc had prescribed a sleeping pill to bring with me, but told me not to take it unless they told me to. In other words, if I didn't fall asleep by a certain time, they would bring me some water to take it with. I didn't need it, but I remember being worried, as you are, about being able to sleep.

I hope it goes well for you.
Thank you! I do have some Ambien and Ativan if needed.

In the survey I did, you can see that there is a lot of variation of which type mask works best for people: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=104522&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=poll

If you can, ask to try the most popular mask in the three different types - nose, full, nasal pillow - and see which one works best for you. There is no single "best mask".
My AHI was 14 and my o2 saturation dropped to 82%.

Thank you for the suggestion on trying out the most popular mask and the different types. I didn't know I could do that.
