Upper Air Resistance and Resmed S9 AutoSet

I was reading that Resmed has updated the AutoSet algorithm to detect UARS. This peaked my interested. I have a S9 AutoSet which is about 5 years old and it is terrible at UARS detection.

Any idea when this improvement was introduced?

the study is not saying what you think it's saying. it has nothing to do with "uars".

you'll also note that it's dated 2010. it's talking about the S9 you have, and its ability to differentiate between central and obstructive apneas.
