Settings on my VPAP S9

Post by Perlina » Sat May 16, 2015 8:15 pm

I'm not sure how this happened, but my settings seem to have changed on my machine. Please tell me, what is the required 'gap' in numbers in order for the machine to actually work in vpap mode? I'm trying to reset at 8 and 13 - is a difference of 5 sufficient? I want to put in some time now to understand my machine better. I was diagnosed with severe mixed sleep apnea plus RLS. Use an fx nasal pillow and tape. Problem is I am just not tolerating the machine at all now - pulling it off after one or two hours of use, whereas it worked well up until about a month ago. I have used this machine for 3 1/2 years and do not have a local doc. Help!

load the data into sleepyhead, it'll tell you what the settings were, and what they are now.

Thanks, Palerider. I have gone ahead and down-loaded my data - success. Is there someone on the board who could look at this chart and give an opinion? If so, please tell me how to send. Thank You! Perlina

Thanks, Krelvin - I will sit down tomorrow morning and go through the steps to post. What I think I see by looking at the data is that the IP pressure has been at 0 for 30 days (!) through the settings themselves haven't changed. I have to wonder if something is broken or wrong with the machine, since I made no changes myself. Tell me, when I post data tomorrow, will my name be posted too?
thanks - Perlina

just look at the summary page, it'll show you the changes to pressure that have been made, and when

Depends on how you do the screen shot and what you are doing a screen shot of. I prefer the daily detailed report and it's easy to crop out the name....or do like I do and don't put my real name as a user profile for reports that might go public.

In other words create a user profile in SleepyHead with something other than your real name.
Like mine in SleepyHead....I have the user profile "Pugsy" for situations where my reports might include my "name".
That way I never worry about having to crop out my "name".
