OT Added CPAP benefits ????

Post by On the virge » Thu May 14, 2015 6:08 pm

As I sweep up pollen and cut my grass for the first time this spring, I wonder whether I should try to use my CPAP machine with a battery while I do my yard work to combat allergies. Anybody tried this?

One point that you are dead right on is that if you do have pollen allergies, you breath pretty good during your sleep with the filtered air from your machine.

While waiting to see the sleep Dr the first time last year, a guy came in with a backpack. We started chatting and I found out he had a cpap Bilevel PR machine in it along with a battery and used it when he was outside on a regular basis.

He was a former stain glass artisan, and over the years damaged his lungs badly.

He used a ffm and needed the pressure to help breath.

There are masks on the market which will filter out pollen and crap like that. They will make you appreciate you cpap machine so much more because you basically have to suck the air through the canisters.
