Tap Pap - will anyone be purchasing this to give it a try?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPYiMQjVhSk
Cpap.com introduced this to me this morning via my email. It looks interesting. I shared it with my husband who also said it looked 'interesting.'
Is anyone here planing to purchase it and write a review?

I can see how you won't have "those annoying strap marks on your face".
I can also see you will instead have those annoying dental bills to pay for straightening out your buck teeth.

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Don't know... it does look interesting. There's another mask, similar to it, and I'm blanking on the name, which is not well made. IF this is sturdier, and easier to adjust, it could be of interest.

Obviously not a good solution for people who occasionally mouth breath at night.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

I tried a night guard before, it pushed my tongue back so this is a no go for me.

Home page about the Tap Pap.
Seems like I read where it doesn't bug the tongue so much but I can't swear to it. I poked around the site last night and read up on it.
I have never used a mouth guard so I have no idea at all what to expect.
I have ordered it today from cpap.com and I should have it Friday.
I will let you all know how it goes. I have been known to open my mouth on a few occasions. I guess I will figure out real quick just how many times.

Hmmm. HMMMM. Now, I tried that other one and was NOT a happy camper with it. But the concept has always been intriguing. I'll be anxiously awaiting your experience with it!
Sleep loss is a terrible thing. People get grumpy, short-tempered, etc. That happens here even among the generally friendly. Try not to take it personally.

Oh, good. I'll be anxious to hear how you like it...or not. I'm not worried about the mouth piece as much as whether the hose places without pulling on the mouth piece.

Im not going to try TAP PAP. But I am getting ready to try "combination therapy." Thats nasal CPAP plus an oral appliance. Im doing it to try to get away from full face masks. I cant take the regular Quattro FFM anymore. I need an alternative.

And I am a bit worried about my tossing and turning causing the hose to pull the nasal pillows or the mouth piece out.quietmorning wrote: I'm not worried about the mouth piece as much as whether the hose places without pulling on the mouth piece.
I really don't like routing the hose over my head all that much but maybe I could compromise with minimal overhead routing if that is needed and I like the mask well enough otherwise.
The lack of headgear really interests me.

If anyone with major mouth leak on regular CPAP tries it, please post how it goes.

Opening the mouth should not dislodge the guard or pillows. In theory it should be no worse than mouth breathing with other nasal pillows.Pugsy wrote: I will let you all know how it goes. Re: Tap Pap - will anyone be purchasing this to give it a try?
Mouth breathing with pillows can run the gamut from allowing all the therapy to escape to repeated awakenings. Even with my jaw up/clenched, I puff air out of my mouth, which wakes me repeatedly. I have to use a Hannibal Lechter style chinstrap to both hold my jaw up and cover my mouth. Even with that, I sometimes leak. It's a great look (NOT) and leaves marks on my face for hours.Chikorita wrote:Opening the mouth should not dislodge the guard or pillows.
